He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, father and step-mother, one brother and one sister. Tommy is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gloria F. Lee, two daughters, Terri (Steve) Brothers and Tammy (Danny) Williams; one grandson, Jeremy Lee Williams; one sister Shirley Logan; one half-sister and one-half brother, three nieces and four nephews. There will be no visitation or services. Anyone wishing to do so, please make donations to Bethel Bible Village, 3001 Hamill Rd. Hixson, TN 37343, McKamey Animal Center, 4500 N. Access Rd. Chattanooga, TN 37415, or Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr. Chattanooga, TN 37416. The family would like to thank Kim S., Rebecca M., and volunteer Kenneth J. of Hospice of Chattanooga for the exceptional care they gave Mr. Lee. "High Flight" Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds…and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of…wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there, I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew. And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
